Free therapy in Maryland may be available if you are sad, grieving, stressed or want to make a change in your life. The Pro Bono Counseling Project assists families, couples and individuals. Services are available via teletherapy (video conferencing), and during the COVID-19 pandemic, telephone only therapy has been authorized in Maryland.
The Pro Bono Counseling Project’s mission is to ensure that Marylanders with limited resources requesting mental health care are provided access to volunteer licensed mental health professionals and other necessary supportive services.

Aidan
They/Them
Aidan is a queer-identified graduate student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore pursing a dual degree in Social Work and Public Health, with a background in mathematical biology and writing. They have been a part of the queer community their entire life and are passionate about preserving queer history. Aidan is an educator, working within alternative sexuality communities and utilizing harm reduction principles as a foundation. They are particularly passionate about intersections of oppression, specifically within epidemiology and social stigma. Aidan lives in an intentional non-monogamous home in Baltimore City, which includes their spouse and 11-year-old daughter.
