The Unity Center will be open 8-9:30am (drop-off)
and 3:30 – 5:30pm (pick-up)
Fee: $100 per camper (includes a $25 non-refundable deposit)
SOCIAL JUSTICE CAMP – JULY 10-14 2023
PFLAG is partnering with St. Paul’s UCC for our second annual Social Justice Camp for 7th, 8th and 9th graders in Carroll County to be held this summer at St Paul’s UCC (but is not a church/religious camp). Youth Changing the World is a one week camp dedicated to service learning and social justice. Students will learn about community issues and how they can make a meaningful difference through promoting community awareness, advocacy, service and philanthropy. Lunch will be provided on days 1-4 and the week will culminate with a field trip to Baltimore on Friday, July 14th to Reginald Lewis Museum, and the Visionary Art Museum (transportation provided by Charter bus). Attendees will earn 25 service hours towards graduation. Registration begins on March 13, 2023. A $25 non-refundable deposit must be submitted at the time of the application. Remaining payment of $75 can be made by going to the following site or sending payment by mail and is due prior to the first day of camp. If you are unable to pay the $100 fee, please request an additional application for a camper scholarship by completing the scholarship form. Applications will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.
